Pharmaceutical Faculty

Фото 1
In 1910, the Society for the Dissemination of Practical Knowledge Among Educated Women commissioned architect K.K. Kaiser to build a building. After the construction was completed, it housed the private women's gymnasium of E.N. Dyulu, as well as courses in artistic embroidery and schools of cutting and sewing. In the 1920s, the building became home to the Moscow Medical and Pharmaceutical Combine, where the pharmaceutical faculty was established. In 1937, it became an independent Moscow Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1958, this institute became a faculty of the First Moscow Medical Institute named after I.M. Sechenov, known as '1st MOLMI.'
