The film 'Kalina Krasnaya' has long been a favorite among viewers, watched by entire families for many years. Therefore, the appearance of the wooden sculpture of Egor Prokudin in the village of Srostki, where Vasily Shukshin was born, was not a surprise. The large wooden figure is installed in the 'Village of Oddities' park, located next to the Shukshin Museum.

The 'Village of Oddities' park was created thanks to the wooden sculpture festival 'Chudiki', named after a story by Vasily Makarovich Shukshin. The first festival took place in 2011, and since then, the number of wooden figures in the park has been steadily increasing. Here, you can see a variety of characters, including heroes from Shukshin's works. The museum features figures such as the mother-in-law whose son-in-law stole a firewood truck, Antip with Marfa from the work 'Alone', characters from the story 'Before the Third Rooster', as well as Stepan Razin and Alyosha Beskonvoyny.

The museum is outdoors, and the figures are treated with a special solution to protect them from damage caused by natural conditions.
