Cultural Palace Named After the XIX Party Congress

Фото 1
In the summer of 1952, a Cultural Palace was opened in Novokuznetsk, named in honor of the XIX Party Congress. The idea for its construction was discussed and approved at a miners' meeting in 1949, with funding provided by the main fund of the 'Baidaevskaya' mine.

The establishment of the Cultural Palace was a significant event in the life of the city. In the following years, renovations were carried out, after which the building was transferred to the city authorities.

The Cultural Palace impresses with its appearance and stands out noticeably among other buildings on the street. It is a two-story structure with a wide grand entrance, adorned with massive columns that reach up to the roof. The walls and windows of the building attract attention with their snow-white arches and projections, designed in the form of ancient bowls.
