The history of the Kudryavtsevo estate spans about 150 years. It began in the second half of the 19th century when the talented Russian architect Nikolai Galaktionovich Kudryavtsev acquired a deserted plot of land. He quickly transformed this wasteland into a flourishing estate with magnificent residential buildings and its own church-tomb. Nikolai Galaktionovich approached the construction of his estate with great care. He even purchased a brick-making machine and organized brick production using material from the nearby forest. Soon, the main mansion was built, but a problem arose: the location turned out to be unsuitable for his eldest son Galaktion, who had been in poor health since childhood. Therefore, another house had to be constructed.

Kudryavtsev was a devoted family man and for some time raised three children alone after the early death of his first wife. He sought to create the most comfortable conditions for his loved ones and built a new two-story mansion to replace the old one, which came to be called the 'new' house. However, Nikolai Galaktionovich did not manage to grow old in his estate and be buried in the Holy Trinity church-tomb that he built for this purpose. After the October Revolution, the Bolsheviks confiscated all the property of the Kudryavtsev family, who had served Russia for five generations. The estate was looted, but most of the buildings miraculously survived, including both mansions and the church, which was turned into a club.

Today, on the territory of the former estate of architect Kudryavtsev, there is a sanatorium named 'Zhemchuzhina'. Here, one can see the remnants of former luxury, and the Holy Trinity church is gradually being restored after decades of neglect during the Soviet era. The restoration of the temple began only in 2013, after which it was re-consecrated and opened for believers.
