The Nicholas Church at the cadet corps was built with funds from the Ministry of Defense. It has one altar dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, which was consecrated in 1879. There is also a chapel with an altar in honor of Saint Prince Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles, consecrated in 1887, located at the cadet corps camp 7 versts from Simbirsk, near the village of Polivny Vrag.

The clergy consists of a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. Government apartments are provided for the priest and deacon. The priest's salary is 720 rubles, the deacon's is 450 rubles, and the psalmist's is 196 rubles. The congregation includes 380 male cadets, as well as 199 male staff and servants and 178 female staff.
