The Alexander House Church at the Grigorov Women's Gymnasium in Kostroma was founded in 1866 thanks to the efforts of Actual Privy Councillor Alexander Nikolaevich Grigorov. The church has one altar dedicated to the holy and righteous Prince Alexander Nevsky. Nearby are the Godfather's and Meeting House Churches at the theological seminary.
