The two-story building made of red brick with a hipped roof is located in the historical center of Karsun. It occupies a significant plot at the intersection of Ulyanova and Moskovskaya streets, featuring two main facades: southern and eastern.

The main rectangular volume of the building, with a beveled corner on the northern side, is adjoined by a one-story veranda with a shed roof and a one-story extension with a gable roof. On the western side, there is a one-story extension made of silicate brick with a shed roof. To the left of the southern facade is an entrance vestibule with a gable roof and a protruding canopy supported by two round columns. The building is designed in an eclectic style.

The asymmetric southern facade, divided into six light axes, is adorned with pilasters featuring decorative niches and a narrow protruding decor at the second-floor level. The rectangular windows on the first floor have arched lintels and are framed with simple casings and a profiled window sill. They are united by a profiled belt that transitions into arched lintels with keystones. The second-floor windows are framed with pilasters and decorated with fan-shaped lintels with keystones, above which are profiled shelf-like lintels on decorative brackets. The window area is highlighted by rectangular reveals.

Horizontal elements of the facade include a profiled cornice between floors, a window sill belt, and a stepped cornice on the frieze.

The decor of the eastern facade, which has four light axes, is similar to that of the southern facade.

The beveled corner of the building includes one light axis. Previously, there was a grand entrance here, which is now bricked up. On the second floor, there is a balcony with a door framed by pilasters and a profiled archivolt.

The facade above the balcony is decorated with a pediment with a semicircular finish and a narrow arched window framed by pilasters. The pediment is bordered by parapet columns with decorative niches.

The main facades are topped with attics that replicate the shape of the pediment: two on the southern facade and one on the eastern facade. The eastern facade on the left ends with a parapet column.

Currently, the building is used as a residential house. There is no historical data about the merchant who lived here in the Committee.

The Committee of the Ulyanovsk Region for Cultural Heritage is conducting an examination to decide on the inclusion of the building in the register of historical and cultural monuments.
