The Vorobyov House is a beautiful two-story wooden mansion located in the historic center of Vologda. Built in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style, it has always served as a private residence. Surprisingly, its excellent condition is not due to restorers, as the house has never been restored, but rather to its residents who carefully maintain it.

This house is a remarkable example of provincial Art Nouveau. Its main facade features two identical balconies on the first and second floors, with railings styled like lyres. The main decoration of the facade is a carved cornice frieze that resembles delicate Vologda lace. The same 'lace' adorns the valance of the second-floor balcony. This magnificent house can be seen in Nikolai Dostal's film 'The Little Demon,' based on the novel by Fyodor Sologub.
