The urban estate, owned by Prince I.M. Obolensky, I.I. Nekrasov, and A.A. Katuar de Bionkur, underwent significant changes in the 1890s thanks to architect R.I. Klein. Later, in 1899, it was reconstructed by architect L.N. Kekushev. In 1903, architect I.P. Zalesky made changes to the balcony structure.
