An old building at 69 Krasnaya Street in Krasnodar, adorned with a statue of the god of commerce Mercury, has supported local entrepreneurs since 1909. More than a century ago, this house belonged to the Polyakov brothers, well-known merchants. It is hard to imagine, but in the courtyard of this elegant building with bay windows, there once was a farm that actively traded Tavrichesky breed cows and milk. A few years later, the house was rented by the Sarantidi brothers, who opened a music store here. It sold pianos, gramophones, records, sheet music, and music boxes, as well as movie projectors and bicycles.

With the arrival of Soviet power, the building housed the sheet music store "Burevestnik," then it became home to a club for the disabled, a dormitory, and the stores "Pioneer" and "Ready-made Dress." Currently, this building houses a fabric store and office spaces. The project "Pride of Kuban" by "Delovaya Gazeta. South" features photographs of places and objects that Krasnodar and the entire region can be proud of.
