In the early 20th century, a residential building was constructed on Moskovskaya Street by local entrepreneur Prokhor Lvovich Shvidenko. It was a one-story building made in a conventional style. Prokhor lived here with his family and established his small business for providing funeral services in the house. Today, the building is recognized as a cultural heritage site and is under state protection.

The house gained particular fame because it was built on the site of the house of the Azov ataman Prozorovsky. In 1697, Peter I commissioned Prozorovsky to cultivate vineyards for wine production. The decree was called 'On the Cultivation and Maintenance of the Sovereign's Vineyard in Azov' and instructed the voivode Prozorovsky to 'establish vineyards' on the Azov hills. These vineyards were meant to grow so that local residents could not only enjoy the fruits but also sell them. It was also anticipated that they would successfully engage in winemaking, producing wine that would be comparable in quality to Crimean and Moldovan wines, and in taste could rival champagne, despite the fact that viticulture in this region had only begun to develop 15 years prior.
