The house belonging to the heirs of A.I. Lednev is a three-story brick building, plastered and adorned with a cornice that has a strong overhang. The main facade, facing Dostoevsky Lane (formerly Kazan), is designed in a symmetrical style. The floors are separated by horizontal ties and a profiled crowning cornice, beneath which is a frieze with large decorative elements. The central entrance emphasizes the symmetry of the facade. The windows on the first floor have a parabolic finish and are framed with light stones, similarly, the rectangular door opening is designed. The first and second floors are decorated with rustication and pilasters with high niches. On the second floor, there are wide rectangular windows with shaped lintels. The third floor features narrow rectangular windows framed by small pilasters and a horizontal tie with a semicircular finish. The side facades of the building are designed in the same style.

The history of the house dates back to 1906. After a major fire that destroyed the center of Syzran, the city council decided to build only stone buildings in the center. In documents from 1909, a stone house belonging to the heirs of A.I. Lednev is mentioned in block No. 3 on Kazan Lane, valued at 3000 rubles. The house was municipalized by a decree on August 20, 1918. At that time, it contained 3 apartments, 12 rooms, and the total living area was 85 square fathoms. The accounting records from 1919 indicate that the former heirs of A.I. Lednev's house housed the 'Moscow' hotel.
