One of the most beautiful pre-revolutionary buildings in Nakhichevan-on-Don, now the Proletarsky District of Rostov-on-Don, is the house of merchant S.H. Galadjev, built in the late 19th century. Merchant Galadjev lived here with his family until the arrival of Soviet power, after which the building was confiscated, and the further fate of its owner remains unknown. The building itself is executed in a magnificent style, adorned with semi-columns, pilasters, and other architectural elements characteristic of that time.

Today, the former house of Galadjev is included in the list of cultural heritage sites and serves as a true decoration of the Proletarsky District of Rostov-on-Don. Currently, this building houses a confectionery, a store, and residential apartments on the second floor.
