The Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum, dedicated to the poet's memory, is located in the historic center of Moscow, near Arbat, at house No. 6 on Borisoglebsky Lane. This house is a monument of history, culture, and architecture. Built in 1862, the building in the style of Moscow classicism originally served as a tenement house with two floors and four apartments.

In September 1914, Marina Tsvetaeva, who was then twenty-two years old, moved into this house with her husband Sergey Efron and their two-year-old daughter Ariadne. She lived here for almost eight years, during which she created hundreds of lyrical poems, six romantic plays, four poems, as well as translations, prose essays, and diaries.

Today, the museum has recreated the unique layout of the one-and-a-half-story apartment that so impressed Tsvetaeva. Among the antique furniture that immerses visitors in the atmosphere of the Silver Age, one can see the personal belongings of the poet and her family.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, both from its collections and from invited artists. Popular activities include overview, author, and walking tours. Evenings of organ music, chamber concerts, performances, and literary evenings are also organized here.
