The Memorial House Museum of Academician Alexey Alexeevich Ukhtomskiy was opened in Rybinsk on September 20, 1990. It was in this house that the future scientist spent his childhood and youth.

Museum staff actively study the scientific legacy of A.A. Ukhtomskiy, his works and developments related to social, moral-ethical, and religious issues. The museum also works actively to implement Ukhtomskiy's ideas into the educational programs of institutions in the city and region.

Particular attention is given to the exhibition complex in the museum. Staff create exhibits that illustrate the scientific and research history of Rybinsk.
