House of Merchant N.M. Revyakina

Фото 1
The two-story stone-wood building with a beveled corner is located at the intersection of Proletarsky Lane and Ulyanovskaya Street. The beveled corner, highlighted by a hipped roof, faces the intersection. The building's facades are adorned with decor that combines elements of various styles, predominantly classicism and neo-Russian style with folk motifs. The corners of the building and its street facade are decorated with ornate pilasters supporting a wide Doric frieze and cornice. This classical decor is placed directly on the log walls. The window frames are decorated with rusticated pilasters and symmetrical curved volutes. The semi-basement floor is made of brick, and its windows are currently bricked up.

In the 1910s, the house belonged to the merchant N.V. Revyakina, sister of the founders of the first pawnshop in Syzran, P.V. and I.V. Revyakins. It is now a residential building.
