In house No. 4 on Pesheya Street, built in the 1870s as a rental property, the famous zoopsychologist Nadezhda Nikolaevna Ladygina-Kots, Doctor of Biological Sciences, was born and lived. The Ladygin family resided in an apartment on the first floor of the western wing. The building was located within a block, was wooden, two-storied, with a hipped roof, stood on a brick foundation, and had a G-shaped layout.
