Фото 1
The merchant house of M.S. Gusev was built in 1886. This ancestral home includes 14 living rooms, located on two floors. The main facade of the building has 13 windows, while the side facades each have 24 windows.

The Gusev family was large: Mikhail Semyonovich and Anna Fyodorovna had four sons and two daughters. It was a strong lineage. However, like many prosperous peasant families in Russia, after 1917 the Gusevs were dispossessed and stripped of their voting rights.

The house is located in the village of Cherevkovo, Krasnoborsky District, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia.
