A large two-story stone house, presumably built in 1911 by merchant Nikolai Stepanovich Noskov, known for his good deeds and patronage, became a significant landmark in the city. The Noskov family occupied only part of the second floor, while the other rooms were rented out to travelers and guests. On the first floor, as was customary at the time, there was a shop. Merchant Noskov offered delicacies, fish, fine wines, and cognac. Initially, a hardware store operated in this building. The house, with its picturesque facades, faced Sobornaya Square (now Komsomolskaya Street) and Nizhne-Pokrovskaya Street (now Kirova Street). The building's decoration lacked stucco, with all decorative elements made of brick. Above the shop entrance was a balcony with a wrought-iron cornice. The building harmoniously fits into the historical center of the city and adorns the street.

Before the revolution, the administrative department of the Kuznetsk district executive committee was located here for some time. During the Soviet period, the building housed a musical instrument store 'Melodiya', a bakery, and a grocery store 'Rus'. Currently, the first floor accommodates a café and a pharmacy, while the second floor is occupied by the federal BTI.
