Фото 1
The house was built in the late 19th century and belonged to merchant Vasily Vasilievich Leontyev until 1918. On the first floor were "Denisov's Bakery" and "Fish Trade of I.F. Mitrokhin and V.V. Leontyev," while the second floor was used as living quarters. During the Soviet period, Tula designer V.N. Polyubin lived in this house, and the building served as a place for a sobriety society and a tea house. Later, and until recently, it functioned as an ordinary residential building.
