The house of merchant Galaktion Stepanovich Klepikova in Surgut is the only architectural monument from the late 19th century that has survived in its historical location. This building is an example of Siberian wooden architecture.

The house features authentic elements of provincial merchant life and Russian old-settler culture of that time. Here, one can see furniture, dishes, and textiles that were used in the daily life of affluent townspeople of Surgut. The exhibition includes unique archival materials that reveal interesting facts about the city's history. Visitors can learn about the lifestyle, customs, and traditions of the townspeople of that period.

On the estate's grounds, there is a service called "Photo Studio on the Merchant Street." The Surgut Local History Museum offers photography in the interior of the merchant's house in 19th-century urban costumes. Such a photograph will make an excellent souvenir for residents and guests of Surgut.

Today, the Merchant Estate is actively functioning and serves as a venue for various events and celebrations, making merchant Klepikova's house a popular leisure spot for Surgut residents of all ages.

The house of merchant G.S. Klepikova is recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional significance and is included in the unified state register.
