General Alexey Fyodorovich Ozyorov was one of the landowners in Bessonovka. In the second half of the 19th century, while living in Kharkiv, he had a summer residence in Bessonovka with servants and laborers, where he would come with his family for the summer. The estate featured a forest and a beautiful garden, in the creation of which the general actively participated, as well as a swimming pool. It was said that he had seven such estates.

The exact date of the estate's founding is unknown. From 1884 to 1902, many new buildings were constructed and old ones renovated on the estate. Most of the buildings were made of stone and covered with iron. During the revolution, the residents of Bessonovka rose against the landowners, demanding land and bread, which also affected General Ozyorov. Locals recalled how the peasants gathered to take the land from the general, and his heart could not withstand it; he passed away. He was initially buried in a crypt under the church, later reburied.

Currently, the landowner's house houses the Bessonovka Children's Art School. Next to the house is a park with two-hundred-year-old linden trees. In 2013, the building was included in the list of identified cultural heritage sites of the Belgorod region.
