In 1911, a new income house was built in pre-revolutionary Rostov-on-Don, owned by entrepreneur Alexander Alexandrovich Levanidov, the nephew of the city mayor and owner of a brick factory, Ivan Stepanovich Levanidov. Today, the building of the former Levanidov income house is included in the list of cultural heritage sites of regional significance.

This five-story brick building is designed in the Art Nouveau style and has a G-shaped floor plan. The facades of the building are asymmetrical. The first floor is adorned with plaster rustication, while the second to fifth floors are decorated with a concise brick ornament. The second, third, and fourth floors are connected by pilasters with an archivolt, between which there are semicircular balconies. The spandrels of the fifth floor on the southern facade are decorated with niches featuring geometric patterns. The building is topped with a parapet with single pediments, although the pediment of the eastern facade was lost during the Soviet years. Above the main entrance, the relief date of construction and the owner's initials are preserved: '1911. A. L.'

During the Civil War, notable figures such as the artist Al'bion and ballerina Dobina lived here. Later, the building was confiscated from the owner and housed the editorial offices of Soviet magazines. Currently, the building is used as residential space, with shops located on the first floor.
