The main house of the urban estate is an example of a small residential building from the third quarter of the 19th century, executed in an eclectic style. Originally built in 1834, it burned down in 1871. In its place, S.S. Tsemirzhinskaya erected a two-story wooden residential house. Since 1890, the house belonged to the Moscow petty bourgeois A.F. Volkova, and six years later it was acquired by the French Society of Mutual Assistance in Moscow. At that time, all residential units were rented out as apartments. In 1906, the house became the property of the French national G.A. Deme. Inside the building, the layout of the apartment type from the third quarter of the 19th century and the corner stoves of that time have been preserved.

Restoration

The house was unused for a long time, so comprehensive work was required. In the first stage, specialists installed supporting posts under all ceilings and special frames to protect the original stoves. Emergency work will also need to be carried out on the damaged areas of the roof. Subsequently, comprehensive restoration work will begin. After its completion, the rights holder will be able to take advantage of a preferential rental rate of one ruble per square meter per year.
