The building is currently vacant and is at risk of demolition. It is not included in the list of architectural and historical monuments. The modern address is Vodnaya Street, 13. Previously, this area housed a dacha settlement where notable individuals of both local and national significance lived.

Lydia Vladimirovna Bukolova first gained fame as the wife of the estate manager of Prince A.M. Golitsyn in the Oryol province. After her husband's death, she took management into her own hands and successfully continued his work. Later, she became one of the founders of women's agricultural courses in Moscow under the patronage of E.M. Oldenburgskaya, the wife of the Prince of Oldenburg. While in Novorossiysk, Lydia Vladimirovna created a large exemplary estate, which was repeatedly mentioned in early 20th-century travel guides. Research on her life is ongoing, and work in this direction is being carried out.
