Construction of Vishnevetsky's Dacha
The mansion was built in 1913 based on the design of the renowned architect S.A. Kalistratov. At that time, its owner, Major General of the Cossack Army Nikita Ivanovich Vishnevetsky, had already retired, having reached the maximum age.
Architect
Semyon Akimovich Kalistratov, who served as the city architect first in Novorossiysk and then in Saratov, is known for his projects of significant buildings in these cities. However, his contribution to the construction of dachas-mansions in Gelendzhik, especially on Thin Cape, often remains in the shadows.
Present Day
General Vishnevetsky's dacha is one of the few remaining testimonies to the almost completely lost architectural heritage of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus.
After nationalization, a clinic was located in this building. Currently, it houses the boarding house 'Southern Star.'
