In the village of Voshazhnikovo, there are three churches. The first, the church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, was built in 1700. According to a document from the archive of Count Sheremetev, this palace village, gifted to Boris Petrovich Sheremetev by Peter I, had a stone church with a carved image of St. Paraskeva the Great Martyr. Nearby, on pillars, there were four bells. The church's dome was covered with wooden shingles, and an iron cross stood on it. The altar and refectory were covered with shingles, and around the church and cemetery, there was a wooden fence.

Later, the stone temple built in 1700 acquired a five-domed appearance and was covered with iron. At the same time, a three-tiered bell tower with battle clocks, purchased in 1800, was erected.

In 1797, through the efforts of the parishioners, a five-domed church in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity was built, also covered with iron.

The cemetery church, a single-domed stone structure connected to the bell tower, was built in 1830 by the parishioners and dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord.

The first two churches are located in the center of the village and are surrounded by a stone fence on three sides, while on the fourth side, there are stone benches built around 1793. The cemetery church is located outside the village and is also enclosed by a stone fence.

The Church of the Nativity was built on the site of an old wooden church that existed since the time of Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich. These churches are assigned 83 desyatinas of land and a parish from five settlements.
