The church in honor of the Conception of Righteous Anna was built in 1817 with funds from parishioners on the site of a wooden church that had existed since the early 17th century.

The building is made of stone, has five domes, and features a tiered bell tower. In 1868, the refectory was expanded under the guidance of provincial architect A. M. Dostoevsky. In the first half of the 19th century, the church was painted, and in the middle of the same century, a three-tiered iconostasis was installed.

The church has three altars: in honor of the Conception of Righteous Anna, the prophet Elijah, and the Transfiguration of the Lord.

A church parish school operated at the church.

The church was closed in 1941. During the Soviet era, it housed a grain storage facility. In 1976, a fire occurred in the church.
