The village of Vvedensko, which no longer exists, was located on the banks of the Kamenka River. It emerged on the site of a Pogost and was named after the stone church dedicated to the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built by the parishioners in 1808. In addition to the Vvedensky altar, there were also chapels dedicated to the Prophet Elijah and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The name "Vvedensko" was often accompanied by the clarification "in the Kastska volost," indicating the village and the surrounding lands belonged to the Kastska volost of the Yaroslavl district.
