The village of Sverbino is located in the Shatkovsky district. In accordance with the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the Vvedenskaya Church, dedicated to the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos, was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1895. However, order No. 5-OD lost its validity on October 20, 2014, due to the issuance of order No. 159, as reported by the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In some sources, such as the "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" from 1888, an earlier date for the church is mentioned, 1852.
