The parish church in the village of Ostapovo, located in the Balakhna district of the Nizhny Novgorod province, has existed since 1878. Although its construction began without official permission from the authorities, everything turned out well, except for minor harassment. The church was built with the funds of V. I. and V. M. Sirotkin and was consecrated in honor of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos. Currently, according to the decree of October 17, a community has been established, which includes 115 people. The chairman of the community is A. I. Badyanov, and temporarily fulfilling the duties of the priest after the death of Antonin Bugrov is Ioann Nemtsov-Davydov.
