Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Nikolsky-Uleymin Monastery

In 1695, the Presentation Church was rebuilt, incorporating fragments of 16th-century structures. This building represents a complex multifunctional complex, which includes a refectory from 1563, the abbot's quarters, the cellar, as well as a kitchen and storage for kvass and bread in the basement. The upper and lower parts of the church are connected by an internal passage, and an elegant porch with two staircases serves as the entrance to the living quarters.

The Presentation Church, the main adornment of the Nikolsky-Uleymin Monastery, has been well preserved to this day. Rare "star-shaped" sandriks were restored on its facades during the renovation.

The church is built of stone, making it warm and sturdy. It has two altars: the Presentation of the Mother of God and that of the Holy Martyr Blaise. The altar of the Holy Martyr Blaise was established by a peasant from the village of Butakovo in the Uleymin volost, Semyon Leontyevich Volnukhin.
