The Savior Church, a wooden church with two extensions and a bell tower, was built in 2012. It was erected near the site where, half a century ago, there was a cemetery church dedicated to the Merciful Savior. This church was built by Priest Mikhail Zverev in 1834 and functioned until the 1930s, when it was closed. Until 1966, the building was used as a club, and then it was destroyed. Now, on the site of the old church, there is a five-story dormitory.

The new church consists of two temples: the lower and the upper. The lower temple is consecrated in honor of the new martyrs and confessors of the Russian Church.

On July 27, 2019, Bishop Paramon of Sergiev Posad performed the great consecration of the upper temple of the Merciful Savior. He was assisted by the rector of the church, Archpriest Peter Gubka, and the brethren of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.

After the consecration, Protodeacon Vasily Popadinetz proclaimed a long life to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia, Bishop Paramon, as well as to all those serving and praying.

After the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Paramon congratulated the parishioners on the feast of the church's consecration and addressed them with an archpastoral word.
