The stone Orthodox church in the village, built in 1825 at the initiative of landowner A. Yazykov, was expanded in 1901 thanks to donations from parishioners and church sponsorship. The temple was consecrated with three altars: the main one in honor of All Saints and two chapels, in honor of the Protection of the Mother of God and the icon of the Kazan Mother of God.

The clergy consisted of a priest and a psalmist. The parish included not only the local church school but also literacy schools in the villages of Beguchi and Karpovka.

After the arrival of Soviet power, the church was closed and gradually fell into disrepair. The building was not returned to the diocese and is in an emergency state: the bell tower's dome is destroyed, the central dome has sagged, and part of the roof is missing.

In 2012, the parish was returned the former church building, presumably the former parish school, to establish the Church of All Saints there. Currently, renovation work is underway in this building. On June 7, 2015, with the blessing of Metropolitan Longin of Saratov and Volsk, the first Divine Liturgy was held in the restored building. Services are now conducted in the former parish school building, adapted as a church.
