Church of All Saints of the Dalne-Davydovsky Convent

The house church in the name of "All Saints" was consecrated on October 2, 1858. An elderly peasant named Dubov was present at this event, who in his childhood witnessed the prophecy of Seraphim of Sarov about the monastery, given in 1785. According to the monastery's chronicle, he was moved to tears and after the liturgy, crying, told Mother Vera Sokolova, the founder of the community, and all those present about the prediction of Father Seraphim and how he accidentally overheard it. Upon returning home, Dubov soon fell ill and died. According to a description of the monastery dated January 7, 1907, compiled by Abbess Augusta, who was the superior at that time, there was a stone two-story church on the monastery grounds with altars in the name of "All Saints" and in the name of the icon of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. This church likely replaced the house community church consecrated on October 2, 1858. The description states that it is a stone, two-story, single-domed church with a refectory and a room for painting, founded in 1890. The upper floor housed the altar in honor of "All Saints," while the lower, cave-like floor had an altar in the name of the icon of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. The temple was consecrated by the blessing of His Grace Nazarius, Bishop of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, by Archimandrite Theodosius, now deceased, on August 19, 1901, and the cave church on August 20 of the same year.
