The Orthodox chapel is dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow' and the holy martyrs Anempodistus and Seraphim. The name of the church is connected to the names of the parents of Platon of Radonezh, who were named after these saints. Platon Anempodistovich held his parents in deep respect. In 1879, according to his will, the renowned singer was buried in the village cemetery next to his parents. A memorial stone marked their resting place with the inscription 'Family of Radonezh.' This stone is now located near the memorial of P.A. Radonezhsky in the village of Pogorelka. Two years ago, a Cross of Remembrance was erected near the memorial, and now a chapel has been built. On July 27, 2013, the chapel was consecrated by the rector of the Spaso-Transfiguration Cathedral in Rybinsk, Archpriest Vasily Denisov.
