The Voznesensk Church, located on the Obnora River, is a parish church built of stone. It has a stone bell tower and a fence covered with iron, making it sturdy. The church has three altars: the main one in the summer church is dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, while the winter church has two altars, the right one in honor of the Entry into the Temple of the Mother of God and the left one in honor of St. Euphemius of Suzdal, the miracle worker. The church was erected in 1819 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners, replacing a wooden church that belonged to the male Voznesensky Monastery, which was closed in 1764.

The church has 40 desyatinas and 560 square fathoms of land. On the church grounds, there are houses for the priest and the psalmist, a building for the church school, and a house for the prosphora baker. There is also a church watchman's lodge and a water mill on the bank of the Obnora River with a hut and a barn. The church's endowment amounts to 2188 rubles in bonds. The parish has 414 men and 540 women. The village is located on a plain on the left bank of the Obnora River and has a church school. According to the staff, there should be a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist in the parish. The state salary for the clergy is 539 rubles, and the parish capital in securities is 7637 rubles.
