The stone church of the Ascension of the Lord is a parish church and has three altars: a summer altar for the Ascension of the Lord and two winter chapels, one on the right in honor of the Sign of the Holy Virgin and one on the left in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. All parts of the church, including the bell tower, are combined into one building. Construction took place at different times: the summer part was erected in 1832 by second lieutenant Nikolai Vasilyevich Sabaneev, a parishioner of the church. The features of the temple include walls decorated to look like marble, a light blue three-tiered iconostasis with carvings, and gilded royal gates. The icons are made in an academic artistic style. The winter part was built in 1785 through the efforts of the parishioners.
