In the village of Vinyayevo, there are two churches: the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, built in 1833, and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, erected in 1813. However, according to data on monasteries and churches in the Arzamas district from 1748, the Church of the Ascension of the Lord already existed in Vinyayevo, built in 1669. This church was closed in the 1930s.
