The Ascension cemetery church has survived to this day, built in 1845 by landowner Vasily Petrovich Shipilov. In the book by Archimandrite Makariy "Monuments of Church Antiquities," the following information is provided: "The village of Shipilovo, a wooden church, in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, built in 1877, single-altar. The cemetery church, in the village of Shipilovo, a stone church, in honor of the Ascension of the Lord, built in 1845, two-altared."
