Kizyatovo, a village in the Ardatov district. The Ascension Church, located in this village, was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site according to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD. The church dates back to 1805. However, according to the Administration for the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, order No. 5-OD was canceled on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
