In the village of Gagino, located in the Gaginsky district, the construction of a church dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord has been completed. This church is a domestic one and is located in a residential building. The rector, Archpriest Nikolai Kalinin, reported that before the revolution, there were two churches in Gagino, but they were destroyed in the 1930s. The new church is situated on the second floor of the priest's house. Currently, the domes have been fully installed, and all necessary church utensils have been gathered. A small chapel, also dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, has been built at the entrance to the domestic church.
