The village of Vozdvizhenskoe is located in the Voskresensky district. In accordance with the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village's Church of the Exaltation of the Cross was recognized as a site of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1856. However, according to the data from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region, order No. 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
