The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the village of Lisino is a stone parish building known for its durability. It has three altars: in honor of the Exaltation of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross, the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, and the saints Simeon the God-Receiver and Anna the Prophetess. The church was built in 1799 with funds from landowner Alexander Nikolaevich Matyushkin and parishioners. Among the particularly revered icons is the icon of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross with an embedded cross and a part of the tree of the Holy Cross, as well as the icon of the Kazan Mother of God in the northern chapel.

The church owns 35 desyatins and 1500 square fathoms of land. There are four church houses: for the priest's residence, for the psalmist, for the church-parish school, and a watchman's lodge. There is a capital of 3150 rubles in government securities. The parish has 229 men and 326 women. The village is located in a flat area and has a church-parish school. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist. The state salary is 392 rubles, and the parish capital is 2135 rubles.
