In Knyazevo, the church was built in 1792 through the efforts of the parishioners. The building is made of stone, with a bell tower and fence, and is notable for its durability. The church has three altars: in the main cold temple, the Exaltation of the Honorable Life-Giving Cross of the Lord; in the warm church, in the chapels, on the right, in the name of the Lord, and on the left, in the name of the Smolensk Mother of God. In the parish, in the village of Penkovo, there is a wooden chapel built in 1895. The church owns 36 desyatins of land, as well as church houses for the clergy.
