The church in the village of Voskresenskoe, located in Porechye, is a stone one-story building divided into warm and summer sections, with a similar bell tower. The roof of the altar and bell tower is made of sheet iron and painted green. A dome with twelve large windows rises above the church, each measuring 5 1/4 arshins in length and 2 1/4 arshins in height. The church is adorned with a large dome and four medium-sized domes, all of which have a dome-shaped form. Iron, securely forged gilded crosses supported by chains are installed on the dome and side domes. The bell tower also has an iron dome with a head and a gilded cross. All domes and heads are covered with aluminum. The exterior of the church and bell tower is plastered and whitewashed. Inside the temple, instead of ceilings, there is a stone vault, the walls are plastered and decorated with artistic oil paintings. The main iconostasis is carved, made in an artistic style and gilded, while the two small iconostases are of the same size. The warm winter section of the temple is heated by four tiled stoves.

Currently, the temple is in a deplorable state: windows are missing, remnants of glass remain only in twelve large windows of the main dome, and the floor in the warm part of the temple has rotted and collapsed in places. Only the frame of the central iconostasis remains, the icons are absent, and remnants of carving and gilding are preserved in places, while the iconostases of the chapels are in a similar condition. The bell tower has only one bell left, which was preserved thanks to the efforts of local residents; the chairman of the collective farm convinced them to leave it as a fire alarm. This bell now calls parishioners from nearby villages to service. Inside the bell tower, the floors and ceilings have not survived, as children set a fire during the Soviet era, destroying all the beams. When the bells were removed, part of the masonry had to be dismantled, which is clearly visible. A crater from the fallen large bell remains on the ground, an unhealed wound from those times. The Church of the Resurrection of Christ is a dependency of the Bogoyavlensky Women's Monastery.
