The church in the village of Smalevo includes two altars: one dedicated to the Renewal of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, and the other to Saint Andrew the First-Called. The date of the church's founding remains unknown.

The church lands occupy 36 desyatins. The parish includes the villages of Smalevo, Tarusino, and Ramenye. In total, there are 27 houses here, with 105 men and 125 women living in them.
