The church in the village of Nikulsk was built in 1796 thanks to the efforts of Moscow merchant Timofey Doronin. The temple has two altars: one in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, the other, the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos.

The church owns 82 desyatinas of land. The parish includes three villages: Popovskoye, Nikulskoye, and Andreytsevo. In total, there are 71 houses here, inhabited by 224 men and 286 women.
