The stone church with five domes and a tiered bell tower was built in 1802 with funds from landowner Ekaterina Ivanovna Sofonova. The church had two altars: in the winter part, in honor of the Renewal of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, and in the summer part, in the name of Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the miracle worker. A church parish school operated at the church. Currently, the church is abandoned, only the walls of the refectory remain, and the frescoes are almost completely lost.
