The Resurrection Church, a monument of urban planning and architecture, was built in 1838. It was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site according to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, which concerned the classification of cult objects as such monuments. However, according to the data from the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this order lost its validity on October 20, 2014, due to the adoption of a new order No. 159.
